My name is Adam Armistead and I am a creative person; driven to design, build, and learn. As a software engineer I have spent 20+ years building and designing things that somehow feel... Intangible. Nothing that someone can point to or hand down to their children and grandchildren. As a woodworker, designing and building heirloom quality furniture with natural materials and finishes and working with my hands allows me to fulfill that drive in a different way.

I specialize in building custom live edge tables and desks utilizing sustainably sourced hardwoods from the Pacific Northwest. I believe that nature is art and that my job as a maker is to find creative ways to highlight and express that.

Many of my builds are a result of seeing a piece of lumber and feeling inspired by colors, shape, texture, and grain to turn it into something that lasts, and honors where it came from.
